People
The Tumaini Christian Health Centre will be a 21st Century facility in a community desperate for care. It will serve the residents of Rwika, Eastern Kenya and surrounding areas aiming to offer the best care and provision that people deserve and need.
With rising health issues and a local Dispensary struggling to meet demand, people travel between 13 and 40 kms to reach other centre's offering care. For some provision people even have to travel to Nairobi.
Tumaini Christian Health Centre will offer a quality choice with 24 hour care, an emergency department, pharmacy and specialists in paediatric care, dental care, maternity care and general health consultations.
With the backing and support of the local administration, health experts and some of Kenya's leading medical professionals, the centre aims to offer residents something special.
The centre will also include facilities for volunteer programmes for UK staff and a chapel.
